It would be a great honor to become a School student representative, I could make a huge difference to the school and I’d make everybody’s  year their greatest year they ever had in their whole entire life. My name is Peliasi and I am going to convince you to vote for me as a school representative. 

If you vote for me as school president I would make sure every kid in the school gets a good deal, like their school fees, stationary and school trips... Technically $5 for the fees, $5 for the stationary and trips, free!! 

Lunch?? No need, I’ll provide kids with healthy and delicious lunches that almost taste like fast food but even mouth watering. Most parents don't have the money for lunches so I’d help out by making a cafeteria for every kid and guess what? The lunch is FREE!

I’d give the school a one hour break time so that everyone can have fun and get a lot of energy from their hard work at class, it would be great to have a longer break time then the 30 minutes break time.

It will be hard to get these things but I will negotiate with the principal and make a perfect deal so that everyone would have fun. It's not all about making the school rich, it's also about saving money and having fun at school. I’m all you’ll ever ask for, If you hate on me I'll fold you up like 1,2,3,4.

Yesterday I did my strand test, I was very confident about doing this because last term I got 3A and that is below my level and I was confident because I wanted to improve. Last term I gained 3A and this term I achieved 4P, I moved 2 sub levels and I appreciate my test results.

Hello there! Thank you for all the support and encouraging me to post more blogs, totally not doing it for the money. 

I'd like to thank everyone who viewed my blog and surprising me with the amount of views I gain everyday, that really convinced me to post more and more. At june the 1st there was a prize of who can gain the most views in a month and the winner gets $25. At the end of june, my teacher will check how much views we got last month compared to this month and the person that has improved and gained the most views gets the prize money.

Stanza 1: 
Roses are red, they turn white when they are dead
They don’t get fed but they do get watered on the head
We use roses for our dinner date
Get rejected and face your one and only fate
If you don’t then that's unlucky mate.

Stanza 2:  
Daisies grow crazy, don’t cut it if you’re lazy
Because if you do they’d just grow new babies.
They are yellow and white maybe it could give you a fright
But it's alright because they don’t bite
just pick one up and put it to flight.

Sugarcane

It was my first time trying out sugarcane in five years when I visited Tonga. I was looking forward to trying it out since I haven’t tasted it in a while but I knew that it would be a good experience.

Firstly my teacher was chopping the sugarcane for us to share, she chopped the sugarcane with her ‘African muscles’ and she cut them well. After that we all sat down and she came around giving out one piece of sugarcane. We had to strip the skin off and eat the inside. When I first ate it, it didn’t taste as good as I ate them when I was a kid because it didn’t have a lot of juice and instead of sugar it gave me plain stone.  

But in the end I enjoyed it.

I outlined  this chameleon using google drawing and I also added patterns to make it look better. As you can see this chameleon is sort of similar to the other one I made but with patterns. I enjoyed making this chameleon.

“Peliasi , Nia,  Mr Hendricks wants you,” said Riko as he burst through the room.  Peliasi and Nia gasped. “ What does he want?  It's not my birthday! Peliasi did I miss it?” asked Nia in fear.

“ Nah bo, wait did I miss my birthday?” wondered  Peliasi. 

“Just go to Mr Hendricks!”  yells Riko 

“Chill out dude , man we’re going” replied Peliasi.

As the three of them walk down the spooky school corridor towards the scary office, Peliasi trips on purpose “ Ahh, ahh! I hurt my leg! Ahh!  I think you need to take me back to class!”  

Nia replied “ Man up! He’s not that scary!”

“ Are you sure?” says Peliasi with a  giggle. 

They approach the door.  “ Yes Mr,” said Nia 

“ Ahh, you two are finally here,” says Mr H.

“Riko called us it sounded like you were in a rush,” said Peliasi. 

“No, I’m not. I’m just really disappointed in you two” replied Mr H with a frown.

 ‘Why?” asked Nia. “Tuesday the boys bathroom had an incident and all the dots add up to you” Mr H said “ what happened” the 2 students ask “ This is what happend” 

Peliasi and Nia stared at each other then bursted out with laughter “ahh so that's what happend” said Peliasi hehe, Man they were louder than a speaker. After they calmed down Nia told Mr H they had nothing to do with it. “ kids said they saw Peliasi’s bag filled with dishwashing soap that came from you, Nia” explained Mr  `` WHAT THE HECK” said Nia “ I never did it” Mr H continued “ I think you did it because your good kids and you probably thought you would get away with it”  “ what if we didn’t do it at all” said Peliasi, Nia agrees. 

“ Mr H I had to bring dishwashing liquid to school for Tec I’m in science” said Nia “ Then explain why Peliasi had the dishwashing liquid?” asked Mr H “ Peliasi had  spare room in his bag and it would save me from carrying stuff around” Nia answers. Yeah, see we didn't do it right? Said Peliasi with a small smile.

 Mr H said “Ka came to me saying PELIASI IS PUTTING DISH LIQUID IN THE TOILET besides Peliasi can still do it without you knowing” 

“ Mr when he gave me back my stuff  it was full, two Ka is in science he had to bring some ,three the toilet was closed because of the workers, it was KA” said Nia  “ Yeah the dots add up” said Peliasi “ okey I believe you go get Ka please”. Later on Ka owned up so Peliasi and Nia were set free.

Title: Why plastic is bad for the ocean

Well, There are more than a 1000 reasons why plastic is bad and why we should start reusing, recycling and reducing.

We should all stop littering because our oceans are becoming polluted and our animals are suffering and dying because of us and it seems like we are the filthy ones.  We shouldn't be stupid  and let the marine animals  die because over a million marines died because of us and it’s not just because they died from their predators they also die because of us.

My first reason why I believe we will stop littering is because if sea creatures die out like seals and turtles then there would be a great chance of great white sharks following extincion. And also if we continue this misery, in a couple of years the next generations will not get a chance to see the real world or even swim in the ocean that we destroyed. 

Also marine creatures will continue to suffer and will eventually be never seen again, and our future kids won't even get to discover what they are and over 8 million plastic are scattered around the world and if we keep this up then we won't even have clean water to drink and clean water to swim in.

Plastic is also starting to choke the sea creatures to death and most are skinny because the blood doesn't race through because the strings are blocking it.

It's better if we stop littering we could even start a better life and a cleaner one.

Games, could games affect your brain or could it increase your brain's intelligence? What do you think? Should children be allowed to play video games? 

Should children be allowed to play video games?

My answer is yes, why? Video games can’t physically make you dumb depending on what game your playing, but most people think it makes you stupid but none of that is true. Playing games just increases other behaviours that will make you seem dumber like focusing on the game instead of homework. Video games have also been shown to have positive effects on the mind such as perception, attention, memory and decision making. Video games helped fix kids that suffer from lazy eye, playing games improved their eyes to open a lot wider.

Should children be allowed to play violent video games?

Obviously not because kids that play violent video games can increase the person's aggressive thoughts, behaviour and feelings. Playing violent video games can damage the brain and may even increase the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Shooting, killing and fighting games makes an individual’s brain less responsive to violence. The average age for a kid to play violent video games is 16+ because at the age of 16 your brain is mature enough to know what's right and wrong. 

In conclusion I’d like to say that gaming could be good for kids and could not be good. Depending on what game, all games can change your behavior no matter what you play, violent, learning or any game.

A story

One day Sau and I went to the park to play touch with some other kids. On the way back home I picked up a mysterious object that shined so hard, I said “Sau check this out” he walked over and was so shocked he said “Bro that’s a diamond coin!” I wasn’t too shocked. I gave it to him to look at it, “These are rare to find and I heard there's only two of these,” Sau said. “How much do you think these are worth because I want to sell it” I asked him, He paused on the spot looking weird at me. “WE JUST FOUND THIS AND YOU WANNA SELL IT” He shouted quietly at my face. I replied, “Yeah I mean we could be millionaires you know?” He stared at me, I stared back at Sau but then he agreed and we lived happily ever after.

Food Tech

 Food Tech

Today at food tech we made zucchini fritters, this one I really enjoyed eating because it was delicious. 

Firstly we grate up the cucumber then squeezed it till the water of the cucumber was out, Next we put 1/4 milk, 1 egg, 1/3 flour and half a tea spoon of baking soda, after that we then whisk it and we put a pinch of salt and pepper in it. Nextly we turn on the stove and place our pan on top of it and we wait for it to heat and then we put the our zucchini fritters on the pan and we let it cook. After we cook all of it we then cleaned up our area and got ready to eat. The zucchini fritters were amazing and with the chili sauce with the zucchini fritters were fire.
