Summer Learning Journey

 

Today I did my first summer learning journey NASA colouring book and I have to say, I actually found it quite fun colouring in the astronauts and the space ship, now that's something I would do for my homework. I didn't learn much things colouring it but I enjoyed doing it. What I did learn was the meaning of NASA: National Aeronautics and Space Administration and of course NASA only has things to do with space, planets? and astronauts. I enjoyed doing this activity.

Every Monday we have science and we learn about geology. Right now we are learning about the inside of the Earth. The inside of the Earth consist the core, outer core, mantle and crust. Today I've made a google form that mostly relates to lava and I hope you enjoy.

It would be a great honor to become a School student representative, I could make a huge difference to the school and I’d make everybody’s  year their greatest year they ever had in their whole entire life. My name is Peliasi and I am going to convince you to vote for me as a school representative. 

If you vote for me as school president I would make sure every kid in the school gets a good deal, like their school fees, stationary and school trips... Technically $5 for the fees, $5 for the stationary and trips, free!! 

Lunch?? No need, I’ll provide kids with healthy and delicious lunches that almost taste like fast food but even mouth watering. Most parents don't have the money for lunches so I’d help out by making a cafeteria for every kid and guess what? The lunch is FREE!

I’d give the school a one hour break time so that everyone can have fun and get a lot of energy from their hard work at class, it would be great to have a longer break time then the 30 minutes break time.

It will be hard to get these things but I will negotiate with the principal and make a perfect deal so that everyone would have fun. It's not all about making the school rich, it's also about saving money and having fun at school. I’m all you’ll ever ask for, If you hate on me I'll fold you up like 1,2,3,4.

E-asTTle Strand results

Yesterday I did my strand test, I was very confident about doing this because last term I got 3A and that is below my level and I was confident because I wanted to improve. Last term I gained 3A and this term I achieved 4P, I moved 2 sub levels and I appreciate my test results.

Hello there! Thank you for all the support and encouraging me to post more blogs, totally not doing it for the money. 

I'd like to thank everyone who viewed my blog and surprising me with the amount of views I gain everyday, that really convinced me to post more and more. At june the 1st there was a prize of who can gain the most views in a month and the winner gets $25. At the end of june, my teacher will check how much views we got last month compared to this month and the person that has improved and gained the most views gets the prize money.

 WALT: Use a range of different poetic devices in our poetry writing.

Stanza 1: 
Roses are red, they turn white when they are dead
They don’t get fed but they do get watered on the head
We use roses for our dinner date
Get rejected and face your one and only fate
If you don’t then that's unlucky mate.

Stanza 2:  
Daisies grow crazy, don’t cut it if you’re lazy
Because if you do they’d just grow new babies.
They are yellow and white maybe it could give you a fright
But it's alright because they don’t bite
just pick one up and put it to flight.

Sugarcane

 Sugarcane

It was my first time trying out sugarcane in five years when I visited Tonga. I was looking forward to trying it out since I haven’t tasted it in a while but I knew that it would be a good experience.

Firstly my teacher was chopping the sugarcane for us to share, she chopped the sugarcane with her ‘African muscles’ and she cut them well. After that we all sat down and she came around giving out one piece of sugarcane. We had to strip the skin off and eat the inside. When I first ate it, it didn’t taste as good as I ate them when I was a kid because it didn’t have a lot of juice and instead of sugar it gave me plain stone.  

But in the end I enjoyed it.

I outlined  this chameleon using google drawing and I also added patterns to make it look better. As you can see this chameleon is sort of similar to the other one I made but with patterns. I enjoyed making this chameleon.
