Games, could games affect your brain or could it increase your brain's intelligence? What do you think? Should children be allowed to play video games? 

Should children be allowed to play video games?

My answer is yes, why? Video games can’t physically make you dumb depending on what game your playing, but most people think it makes you stupid but none of that is true. Playing games just increases other behaviours that will make you seem dumber like focusing on the game instead of homework. Video games have also been shown to have positive effects on the mind such as perception, attention, memory and decision making. Video games helped fix kids that suffer from lazy eye, playing games improved their eyes to open a lot wider.

Should children be allowed to play violent video games?

Obviously not because kids that play violent video games can increase the person's aggressive thoughts, behaviour and feelings. Playing violent video games can damage the brain and may even increase the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Shooting, killing and fighting games makes an individual’s brain less responsive to violence. The average age for a kid to play violent video games is 16+ because at the age of 16 your brain is mature enough to know what's right and wrong. 

In conclusion I’d like to say that gaming could be good for kids and could not be good. Depending on what game, all games can change your behavior no matter what you play, violent, learning or any game.

It would be a great honor to become a School student representative, I could make a huge difference to the school and I’d make everybody’s  year their greatest year they ever had in their whole entire life. My name is Peliasi and I am going to convince you to vote for me as a school representative. 

If you vote for me as school president I would make sure every kid in the school gets a good deal, like their school fees, stationary and school trips... Technically $5 for the fees, $5 for the stationary and trips, free!! 

Lunch?? No need, I’ll provide kids with healthy and delicious lunches that almost taste like fast food but even mouth watering. Most parents don't have the money for lunches so I’d help out by making a cafeteria for every kid and guess what? The lunch is FREE!

I’d give the school a one hour break time so that everyone can have fun and get a lot of energy from their hard work at class, it would be great to have a longer break time then the 30 minutes break time.

 It will be hard to get these things but I will negotiate with the principal and make a perfect deal so that everyone would have fun. It's not all about making the school rich, it's also about saving money and having fun at school. I’m all you’ll ever ask for, If you hate on me I'll fold you up like 1,2,3,4.

A story

One day Sau and I went to the park to play touch with some other kids. On the way back home I picked up a mysterious object that shined so hard, I said “Sau check this out” he walked over and was so shocked he said “Bro that’s a diamond coin!” I wasn’t too shocked. I gave it to him to look at it, “These are rare to find and I heard there's only two of these,” Sau said. “How much do you think these are worth because I want to sell it” I asked him, He paused on the spot looking weird at me. “WE JUST FOUND THIS AND YOU WANNA SELL IT” He shouted quietly at my face. I replied, “Yeah I mean we could be millionaires you know?” He stared at me, I stared back at Sau but then he agreed and we lived happily ever after.

Food Tech

Today at food tech we made zucchini fritters, this one I really enjoyed eating because it was delicious. 

Firstly we grate up the cucumber then squeezed it till the water of the cucumber was out, Next we put 1/4 milk, 1 egg, 1/3 flour and half a tea spoon of baking soda, after that we then whisk it and we put a pinch of salt and pepper in it. Nextly we turn on the stove and place our pan on top of it and we wait for it to heat and then we put the our zucchini fritters on the pan and we let it cook. After we cook all of it we then cleaned up our area and got ready to eat. The zucchini fritters were amazing and with the chili sauce with the zucchini fritters were fire.
